Attorneys / Lawyers

Attorneys are a critical referral because a bad referral can cause a lot of problems. If your client is mad or worried enough to get a lawyer, you want them to have someone who is level headed and who will explain the true cost and risk of "lawyering up". A bad lawyer will look at a new client as a potential invoice that they're trying to milk as much as possible. A really bad lawyer will try to make someone madder or more worried in order to milk even more.

A great policy is to always send your client 2-3 attorneys who you know are good. Attorneys' work loads can vary wildly, so their response times can also vary.

He was not an alarmist but rather a voice of reason.
